Concrete work in Kannapolis
Kannapolis sits toward the northern edge of our service radius and has been through substantial redevelopment over the past decade, particularly around the downtown core and the research campus. That has produced a mix we do not see everywhere — genuinely old mill-era residential concrete alongside brand-new commercial and institutional construction.
In the older residential neighborhoods, most of what we quote is replacement. Original front walks, steps and driveways from the mill housing era are often narrow, thin and long past serviceable. Homeowners here are usually looking for something that will last another few decades rather than the cheapest possible fix, which suits how we work — compacted base, correct thickness, real reinforcement where load justifies it, and joints cut properly on the day of the pour.
Newer areas bring standard suburban work: driveways, garage and workshop slabs, patios, and foundations for additions. We also do rebar placement here as a standalone scope for other contractors working in the area.
At 27 miles Kannapolis is near the outer edge of our radius but firmly inside it, and there is no travel surcharge on the estimate or the job.
